Oh, a very good day indeed!

I emailed in my mini_fest fic finally (I've had it done for at least a week).

I proof-read gryffindorj's hp_yule_balls draft and she's looking at my snarry_holidays for me.

I deleted over 300 words from my severusbigbang fic but added at least that much again.

And gryffindorj and I are working on a collab for severusbigbang and it's really taken off! (Thanks to her mostly.)

Actual word count for me so far today is near 600 words but it feels like more. :D

I might have had a bit too much caffeine as well.

Oh, and Minxie? Halloween candy is the work of the devil. Pat Robertson was right. ;)

I actually got a nice chunk of fic written today but somehow I've lost track of what number of words I started with. I am working from an edited doc and I looked at the word count when I started but didn't write it down or anything. I know I wrote somewhere between 500 and 1000 today at any rate. Progress!

Notifications of comments seem to be coming intermittently to me. I missed several from this afternoon but received others. Might want to check your 'recent comments' just to see.

Anyone else notice a problem?

While I'm here . . . I added about 700 words to one of my fics plus I wrote a double drabble today, almost making up for writing nothing yesterday. Not quite making my 500 word a day goal but still making progress.

I do have a ton of fic that needs to get written this month so I guess I am unofficially planning to write everyday as well. Maybe a goal of 500 words of fic a day? That should get me where I need to be.

If I can get my fics finished I'll drabble for the remainder of the month.

I do also have behind the scenes work to do for severusbigbang before sylvanawood comes and kicks my ass.

Excellent news on the writing front-I managed nearly 1700 words of a brand new fic. I have a few empty slots for sex missing scenes. But I know this one works even if it isn't as complex as the previous attempt.

*Not everyone that writes fanfic is actually trying to be an author that could be published. We all like to read polished work, no doubt. But some people do just love to play in the sandbox even if they aren't masterful.

*We all have a point in time that we consider the "good old days" and they aren't necessarily the same point. That doesn't make yours better than mine or mine better than someone else's.

*I'm not looking for another fandom, k? When I'm done here, I'm done. In all likelihood I'll take down my paltry contributions as well as my past obsessions always embarrass me.
